La Jolla
The seaside community of La Jolla is one of the most beautiful and luxurious areas of San Diego. Its diverse landscape includes long stretches of beach and ocean caves of La Jolla Shores and the scenic Mt. Soledad. La Jolla’s name may be derived from the Spanish phrase “la joya,” meaning “the jewel,” and it certainly lives up to that title.
