Upper Hermosa is a small but affluent neighborhood in southwest La Jolla, east of La Jolla Boulevard. The area is almost completely residential, but Pacific Beach to the south and surrounding La Jolla neighborhoods like the Village offer plenty of nearby options for dining, shopping, beachgoing and entertainment. Upper Hermosa is blessed with sunny 68-degree days and lined with stunning foliage, while its flat terrain and acclaimed bike path make it a delight to runners and cyclists.

What’s Cool About Upper Hermosa
Upper Hermosa is somewhat expensive, but more affordable than coastal Lower Hermosa to the west. The spacious homes vary in style from colonial to modern, and some further inland have ocean views as the landscape slopes upward.
