Today, we have two tips that will make a big difference when you sell your home. These are two of the most important things you can say to an agent when you are interviewing them to sell your home and once you hire them.
1. “Since I’m not picking an agent based on price, I want your honest opinion on the value of my house.” This is a crucial thing to say to an agent. Since all agents know sellers want the most money possible for their home, some will inflate the value of a home in order to curry favor with the seller. Asking them to be honest upfront will increase the likelihood of hiring a truthful agent.
2. “If you do a good job for me, I’ll make it a point to recommend you to others.” Once you’ve hired an agent, say this to get the best out of them. It’s a free way to incentivize your agent to go above and beyond.
