Buying a San Diego home? Search all homes for sale
People ask me all the time how the San Diego real estate market is doing. While many people out there will tell you it’s still extremely hot, I’d say it’s more lukewarm than anything else.
It’s not quite a balanced market, but it’s no longer the climate where you’ll get multiple offers above asking price and sell within days. That being said, you can still expect to sell within a few weeks after putting your home on the market.
Overall, I’d call it a good market but not a great one. I’d also say that the market varies by location and price range, so you should check and see what’s really happening in your neck of the woods. The lower-priced markets tend to be the places where we see homes move more quickly.
