Clairemont
Clairemont is a large and populous San Diego community. It contains a number of restaurants and other activities, including the Clairemont Town Square shopping center. This shopping center has become a hotspot for many of the locals of all ages. It has its own movie theater, a wide variety of shops and restaurants, and a monthly car show. There are a few bars and clubs within Clairemont, but not as many as one would find in other areas of San Diego.

Clairemont Town Square is the neighborhood’s flagship shopping center, containing almost anything one might need: groceries, clothing stores, dining, entertainment and more. Another shopping area is centrally located at the corner of Balboa and Genesee, A variety of ethnic markets, from La Tiendita to Balboa International to Mitsuwa, are available to expand residents’ horizons. Other options include Costco at the neighborhood’s western border, and the myriad businesses of Kearny Mesa. For those looking for the full shopping mall experience, UTC to the north and Mission and Fashion Valley Malls to the south have a virtually endless selection.
